Who can vote
On Voting Day, an eligible Ottawa elector must be a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old, and a resident of Ottawa or an owner or tenant of land in Ottawa, or the spouse of such an owner or tenant. The elector must not be prohibited from voting by law.
To vote for an OCDSB trustee, you must also be eligible to support the English-language public school board. Ottawa advises that eligible electors are automatically eligible for that board unless they have changed their school-board support.
