The role calls for advocacy now and responsible governance when elected trustees regain their authority. Daniel will be direct about that distinction.

Help parents and students find the right people, understand the next step, and get a timely response, with particular attention to students who need individual support.
Accountable local representation
Advocate for an end to provincial supervision, publish plain-language updates, and rebuild trust through decisions that residents can follow and question.

Push for timely school infrastructure, dependable communication, and practical decisions on transportation and other services families count on.

The OCDSB is currently under a provincially appointed supervisor, who holds the board’s normal decision-making authority. During supervision, Daniel will bring Zone 3 concerns forward, help families navigate the system, and advocate publicly for the return of democratic local governance.
